Jan 10, 2010 Troy is attending the Park Tool Tech summit 2010 in Chicago The cycle2city workshop will be closed from Monday Jan 18 to Wednesday Jan 28 (inclusive) as Troy will be taking leave to attend the 2010 Parktool Tech summit in Chicago on Jan 18 &19. He will also be doing some cycle touring and mountain biking. The Park Tool Tech summit is a series of hands on training seminars for professional bicycle mechanics. Technical representatives from the worlds top manufacturers of bicycle components will teach the 3 hour classes in a service style setting. Companies like Shimano, SRAM, Hayes, Campagnolo, Fox, Avid and Mavic will offer classes. Plus Park Tool will offer a class taught by Park Tool lead mechanic Calvin Jones. Troy attended last years summit, which was held in California, and loved it for the experience and knowledge gained. This year should prove to be no different, except Chicago in Winter is going to be very cold. Typical of Troy's enthusiasm, he is already relishing the opportunity to go mountain biking in the snow! Please make a note of the workshop closure dates - Monday and Tuesday (Feb 1 and 2) the workshop will also be closed.
